Hey there! My name is Elizabeth and I’m a journalist, editor, writer and blogger. I’m a proud Geordie from Newcastle-upon-Tyne, but I left the city in 1996 and since then have lived and worked in Edinburgh, Madrid and London and also had an incredible sabbatical in Toronto.

Publications I’ve worked at include the Sunday Herald, TheWeek.co.uk, the Edinburgh Evening News and The Scotsman, where I was appointed its first female night editor. I was also a columnist for Spain magazine and have written for such diverse outlets as Good Housekeeping, The Guardian, The Week Junior and others in both the UK and Spain.

When I’m not writing, I’m reading or listening to podcasts, especially when I’m at the gym.

At the moment, I split working at Hello! magazine with freelancing and blogging. You can find examples of my work in: “Journalism.” If you’d like to work with me, then click here.

Be warned, I still ask when we’re off-stone and miss my proportional wheel so much.
